what size intercooler do I need for my 2.2 ? I have a cobalt LT and I dunno what intercooler I need and I dunno where to find a piping kit for it anyone no of any suggestions? THANKS!

I'm assuming you're going custom...

If this is the case, you can't per say use a kit if it's parts that you're choosing yourself. Piping kits are supposed to be just that, a kit. No fabrication to it to make it work.

The size of the intercooler is purely up to you. Here are the big things to consider:

1. Size of the core
2. Space to fit your intercooler (assuming you're going front mount)
3. The overall size of the intercooler
4. The diameter of the inlet/outlet
5. The location of the inlet/outlet (Example: On opposing sides of the intercooler)

Tip: Look into spearco cores. Do some measurements and go to www.turbonetics.com, they will sell you any size intercooler setup you want. I don't know the price but it's nicely made and Spearco is one of the best types of cores you can get, seriously.
