is the t3t4 stage 3 turbo good?

i saw it on ebay and i was shocked that it claims it can give me 350-375 HP which for a 2.2 ecotec cavalier alot of power, and the other thing is that its under a grand...

is it any good, anyone have one?

T3/T4 Turbochargers are hybrid turbochargers and yes, they are capable of flowing a high amount of CFM but the power numbers are just very general and a roundabout type of thing. On ebay, look out for knock off brands. ONLY buy it if it's a true Garrett or Turbonetics turbocharger. You will know by the picture, on the compressor housing, it has imprinted the companies name/logo.

It's also a older design. I'm more of a fan of the GT series turbochargers that Garrett sells. Check those out www.turbobygarrett.com

The type / size / trim turbocharger is mainly up to what your goals are.

As far as being under a grand, you SHOULD be able to find some GT series turbochargers that are non-ball bearing (journal bearing) that are in the $800-900 range.
