m90 vs m62

Is there a good reason that nobody is talking about running a M90 Supercharger off a GTP Grand Prix or SSEI Boneville on the LSJ motor instead of the M62. You can produce more boost with a simple pulley swap but that also produces more heat. Wouldn't a bigger air pump (supercharger) move more air more efficiently thus reducing the temp increase in the intake?

well with a supercharger the air is moving pretty efficient but wont lower the intake air temp, the main thing why they probably dont run a bigger supercharger is maybe the ecu cant compensate even with bigger injectors and you would have to get a engine management system or of course with a bigger supercharger your are filling the cylinders more and when you increase compression, combustion chamber temp goes up.

No, it's a fitment thing.

And honestly, if you're going to swap superchargers and stick with a supercharger, why stay with the most efficient style? This is why people are looking for twin screw setups...which honestly, they're going to be waiting a while for anyways.

well the tvs just came out and cobalts are swappin to it. the m90 will not fit on the lsj or l61 block w/ out heavy modification.

TVS stands for twin vortex supercharger, its a 1300cc
(1.3L = to an M90 ) charger designed by eaton and manufactured by harrop with superior flow with less paresitic draw and decreased heat, these babies pack some serious power but an ass load of tuning is required and hopeful you have some spare trannies and axles laying around because they've been blowing them to peices
