Fuel Pressure Regulator Compatibility
Friday, April 14, 2006 3:47 PM
I have a 2002 Ecotec with the Bosch style injectors. I also, supposedly, have a fuel rail from the 2003-2005 Ecotec with the Delphi injectors. The rail from my car and the supposed 2003-2005 rail are the same. I read that they should be different. Are they? and if so, how do I make a fuel pressure regulator work on them. I also read that fuel pressure regulators will only work on the newer rail. I am boosting my engine and I want a regulator. Do I need a different on that what I have? Or can I make one work on these. And if so, how?

well which regulator did you get,if it's the RK Sport one you have to cut and splice it in to your return fuel line, which causes a two to one ratio on the stock regulator, hope this help,i had a fun time with this one, lost more blood on this one than putting my header-back exhaust

if at first you don't succeed, you should probably give up
