I was wondering if anyone knew of any free software for tuning my ecu. Evos and other cars have free downloadable programs. I have trouble finding anything for the ecotec or any GM in that matter. I have the data cables i just need the software for my computer. I dont have 500 dollars for the hptuners. Thats a rediculous price to pay, and its even more rediculous to have to pay for "credits". Thanks

So true, but unfortunately that seems to be the only way to get software for our cars

The free downloadable programs are called "open source" programs.

HP Tuners isn't a non-profit organization...they do this for profit and you still get what you want.

If there were that many people who were good at computer programming and decoding, then they could do the same thing as the EVO guys but no one has (at least publicly).
