afc 2, and tach adapter install, and wiring diagram

I bought a S AFC 2 controller but it didn't come with any wiring instructions or wire functions. I got pin out chart from NY jbodies but its for emanagement not apexi. So if anyone knows wire color, and functions of safc2 it would help alot. I was also told that a tach adapter is needed witch I got but I can't find anything on how to hook up to ecotec engine??? I can find wiring instructions for some but not all of the wires do you use all the wires on the ecotec application???

Just curious why your using the safc2. I hope its not for tuning boost but if its for na thats fine the only problem is your going to throw a map code p0107 and you will not pass emissions if its in your area. THe apexi is not really meant for our cars but it can be used successfully with a mil on constantly. Some people say they only ge the mil once in a while others say its constant for me it was constant so i sold it. If you dont have the wiring diagram with the apexi unit you can visit their website Product documentation or the Technical documentation. Both are in PDF format. If you have the pcm out you just need to match the wires to the according pin and wire. I believe there are only 8 wires to hook up. there is a knock signal/rpm signal/ map in/ map out/ power/ ground/ acc on. If you need any more info just ask.

i have it in my car and i still have the color code chart from gm some where ill dig it out and post it up for ya. you kinda have to play around with the sensor settings to get it right but ill give ya my settings from before i unhooked it for emissions, i left it off after that b/c i was sick of that stupid check engine light
