How/Where to tune
Wednesday, May 04, 2011 8:18 PM
Hello everyone,
Here is my problem i have tried to search for this and im just getting confused and i give up so any help would be great. i have a 2006 2.2 ecotec out of a ion that i am putting into a sand rail. im doing the internals and putting a turbo on it. shooting for 350 to 400 hp. the problem i am running into is i cant find out how to tune it. from what i have found i cant use a piggy back system or fmu and i dont thing hp tuners supports this year. is it as simple as getting an older computer to tune or do you know something or someone that can tune these computers. i know if i go to an older computer i have to change throttle body and add sensors and change back to a regulator fuel rail. i will do that if i have to but dont really want to. thanks

@!#$, wire up a stand alone. Throw the stock computer in the woods and grab the new AEM unit or a Haltech S1000.
