For years now I have wanted an Ecotec car. The girlfriend has a 2014 Chevy Cruze with a Ecotec 1.4 Turbo but I have always wanted a first gen Ecotec. So I just picked up a 2005 Pontiac Sunfire 2 door 5 speed. I chose the j body platform over the Delta Cobalts and G5 because I like the looks better I do like the Cobalt interior better though. Car is stock save for a no name catback and cone air filter. This is my 3rd sunfire and 4th j body. I guess they are my weakness. As of right now I'm not too sure the route I plan to take, one side of me wants to supercharge it while the other wants to turbo. I know a turbo makes more power but man the sound of a roots supercharger is so damn nice. Anyway enough yaking I'm sure I will have a ton of questions the more I dig into this.
