If i said i could bring a turbo kit to you with everything you need to get started with a 3.63 psi spring for around 2100 bucks who would be interested. Just let me know because i am interested in capitolizing and i know with my experience with cars can bring in some extra cash while bringing boost to kids and adults for cheaper that hahnracecraft and others i would like to. Plus if your in the chicago area i could give support. This would also include full installation manual.

t3 turbo
log style manifold
35mm wastegate

Is this kit going to work with a Saturn Ion. If so can the psi be greater than 3.63 for a stock engine?

Well the manifold will fit along with the intercooler and all the other components. The only thing that i can think that will be different would be the piping i will look into it but for now it will definately be a perfect fit for the 03-05 cavi with the ecotec

3.63 lbs of boost should not need fuel management and i dont support a pressurized fuel system such as fmu i think they are crap and too hard to tune. Serious turbo buyers should look into fuel pump, injectors, and safc from apexi or emanage.

How much horse power am I looking to gain from that much boost, and is adjustable to swap out with a bigger turbo down the line? Also would this be a fit on an 03 grand am?

Honestly I dont know how much horsepower this will bring you. I have contacted hahn racecraft and they say at 6 lbs of boost that it will reach 225whp so i would guess 190 -200 hp. I dont know if it will fit a grand am. I will state this one more time. This is for 2003-2005 cavalier. Maybe later down the road i will design ones for different applications but for now jbody's are my main concern. And the 3.63 lbs of boost is not alot i understand that. THis kit is just to get you started. Getting boosted is costly and im trying to bring it to jbodies for a little cheaper than the competition. And yes you can swap out the t3 for a t3/t4 hybrid. If you want something such as a t4 your looking at swapping the flang on the manifold.

For that money, why not just swap in a 2.0L Saab Ecopower block? Boosts easily to 20 psi, or higher. In Sweden, there are guys getting 400hp from the block with some rebuilt internals.

It doesn't matter which block you have, you'd still need the larger turbo and all supporting hardware. Besides, if you're replacing the internals anyway, why would you want to go through all that hassle just for a smaller engine? I'm pretty sure if you properly built the engine you already had you'd could easily support over 400bhp.

But thats really not the point, he's talking about an entry level turbo kit, not boosted monster.

Do you have any more info on the turbo?

i would be interested in this as long as i can get it to fit on a '02 eco sunfire with about the same amount of work as it would take to put it on the car u made it for.......any additional information on this would be great

i think hahn lied to u cause the neted 235 on 100 octane and 12 lbs of boost on a not so stock car with fuel mods and for 2100 to get only 3 lbs of boost is pointless thats a nx kit plus a crapload of bottle refills

235 bhp is very doable with pump gas and an intercooler, as long as it's properly tuned. 3 PSI is not bad considering you're not touching any programing or fueling. Plus, the boost pressure could always be increased later on once you've figured out a way to mess with the fuel.

Sure you could be like Vin Diesel and have to punch the NAWZ button every time you wanted to go fast, but you'd still need to figure out away around the fueling issue to make any more power.

Yeah this is really just a base kit to get you started. If you want to run more boost you can its just what you think the stock fuel system can handle. personally 3.63 pounds of boost is enough without any fuel upgrades. So you throw in a 255 lph fuel pump and some 440 cc injectors with emange your looking at some serious power. But im just seeing who is interested in the kit. If its even worth producing. Ill soon finish my kit and put pictures on within the next month. So stay tuned if you want to go by nitrous go for it but personally i think go juice is only worth it if you spend big bucks on it and by that time you could have the same amount of power that is shown throughout every gear and throughout the whole power band. but to each his own. And if you want more boost right away go spend like 3200 bucks whatever. Just trying to see if i can help out.

see everything will fit except the piping is probably gonna have to be modified. Install wise we would have to talk and work something out.

Alright I understand this kit is for a CAVALIER. I would love it though if you sent me those install pics cause they make nothing for a Grand Am as far as turbos go, and I don't think there are that many differences in the engine bay. I know the fuse box, anyway. Just kind of an overview of your install and mabye you could even open this up to the N-body market. Because with my AC on the car has a hard time, well, going.

Definately ill get pics asap and i would love to bring turbo's to every ecotec in every body form. I think that this will be a great oppurtunity to expand the turbo horizon haha.

DUDE MAKE IT ALREADY!!! OR I'LL BUY FROM HAHN!!!!!

Its been made put together and i run 9psi on stock injectors with a 12:1 fmu and a inline msd fuel pump. I didnt say it was in production so yelling or bold words is not necessary. Buy it from hahn and see how much you pay. I payed 1300 bucks for all my stuff. Go ebay shopping. But be prepared to do some modification. If you can get access to a lift you may want to do so. I dont care to put this kit together due to fact that its a pain in the ass and people are impatient so have fun building your own turbo kit or get some lube and grab your ankles when buying one from hahn.

You are running 9 psi on stock injectors? With a 12:1 FMU that means you are pushing aroung 140-150psi through your stock fuel system? This I would love to see. If I were you I would spare no amount of money when it comes to fuel.....unless you hate your engine.

I'm not trying to sh*t on your setup or your quest for boost, because the more people that can learn how to do this, the better. But don't spread b.s. throughout forums that are made so people can learn. If for some reason your car is actually running, fix the fuel setup or it won't be for long.
