painting the intake manifold

has anyone painted their stock ecotec manifold? I was thinking about sanding it down to rough it out and then using a hi-temp paint. I dont know if the paint will stick. Any input?

Does your intake manifold heat up to 700 - 1200 F? lol
Use any paint you want, but make sure you put primer first (both paint the primer could be found at local Autozone)
I'm not sure about sending part, so good luck on that!

Since the IM is plastic. Doubt you need hi-temp paint.

Try some plastic application paint like Krylon. Maybe don't need primer.. never used the stuff before.

one of my friends painted his block, head, cover with regular automotive base/clear paint last year and to this day it still looks fresh. P.S. DONT PAINT THE EXHUAST!!
