what kind of car is it? Also, try www.highrevmotorsports.com for wheel hop, get the upper and lower motor mount inserts. Also try www.Modified-motorsports.com, they have lower control arms that are supposed to help with wheel hop. And get good tires. Nice and soft.

DO NOT order from highrev. Read this

http://www.j-body.org/forums/read.php?f=1&i=327232&t=327232&start=0

Engine mounts do nothing for wheel hop. They are for minimizing engine movement in the compartment, and loss of torgue to the wheels caused by the engine moving.

If you have a J-body...

Carcustoms.net has control arm bushings Which is 1st in stopping whell hop.

Front & rear swaybars can help too.

Also, strut tower braces can help some too. Gravana Tuning has a pair for decent price.

Also:
aplusperformance.com

If you don't have a J-body.. these sites also have products for other cars as well.

okay well considering how wheel hop is caused by the engine moving i thnk the minimizing the engine movement would help. actually i know it will help cause i got a brace that stops the engine from moving at all. and guess what no more wheel hop.

Do you even have the parts in your car? Do you even have a car?

When I put my engine and trans mounts in; it did nothing for wheel hop. Gee... as soon as I put on my control arm bushing.. hmmmm no more wheel hop.

What you have on your car? I see you don't even have your profile filled out.
So who's the "dumbass"? Perhaps the one spouting off crap with no information?

1: Highrev doesn't exist anymore. Lets tell people to order from a company that is clsoed down. That's ingeneous!

2. Actually wheel hop is caused by much more than the movement of the engine. More in effect of the weight of the car being disributed to other areas of the vehichle. That is what actually causes wheel hop.

3. The main purpose for the engine mounts and trans mounts.. Are to stop the engine from shifting which causes loss of power to the wheels. Ever go to a drag strip? The drag cars have solid chassis mounts..

Why i wonder? Sure is not for wheel hop since they only go in a straight line. Could it be for the engine from moving when they launch the car? I bet it is.. so the car doesn't loss the power to the wheels on start off.

So, why don't you try knowing what you are talking about before your prove who is really the "dumbass".

I'm thinking of wheel hop in turns. Which control arm bushings do help.
You are correct for straight away wheel hop.

So technically we are both right. But name calling isn't necassary. Nor is is mature or called for.

I still think the Dumba$$ is the guy telling people to order from a nonexistant company. Or when it was... would screw up almost every order.

Is that why all those people, who ordered from Highrev, have to do credit card returns?

Is that why those people who called them about products not getting shipped to them; saying the phones are disconnected?

If I am wrong about the stuff being posted on the thread. Still I ordered my engine mounts from them a long time ago. It took 3 months for me to get them. I couldn't get anyone to respond to my emails or phone messages the whole time. When I finally did a credit card return and contacted Better Business Beareu, actually found a way to send out my parts. With no explanation why it took 3 months to ship my parts.
