Pacesetter Header Stock Exhaust pipes & cat?
Friday, September 23, 2005 6:29 AM
Will it be worth getting a Pacesetter header with a stock Cat and Pipes. I do have a Magnaflow muffler with a single inlet, dual outlets. I just want to keep the piping and the cat, to keep costs down. Will I see much of a gain by doing this?

Also anyone getting a weird site when going to www.j-body.org?

Stock piping is about 2" diameter. Whereas the down pipe for the pacesetter is 2.25". Exhaust flow will be little better, but the stock piping will cause a kin of bottlenecking. You will see some improvement from the header, but not as much as if you put a cat and piping on that matches the diameter of the downpipe.
