My 700hp ecotec 1 turborcharged motor and car

hello friends, for me are a pleasure to post at this wonderful forum.

Below they are some pictures of my car with motor phase II unfinished and with 480 hp, the pictures of the motor phase II concluded and 703hp load are in a ftp that this fallen today

I will post the pictures of the motor and car concluded tomorrow ok

Is that the intake of Saab? If not.. what's it from?

Wouldn't want to make a list of the internals you got in that awesome engine.

I think you will find that is a european only engine they take tuning way more serious there than here in the states

I thought Ecotecs were chain driven, not belt.

This particular 'ecotec' is only available in europe, its a pretty old design - fully cast iron etc...

Yes also note that this particular ecotec is the older version with the Cam on lifter setup. (much like a 2.4L) instead of the Roller follower and lifter setup like the US version.

Isn't that engine he has there basically the older Saturn based engine?

Totaly different animal the what we have in our cars. Its nice no doubt but we mat as well be compairing our engines to that of a Nissan. Its GM in Europe, nothing like what we have.
