I’m in the process of begining modding my ecotec (2002) engine. I’m planning on custom intake, custom bored Throttle body (62 mm or more) custom exaust with High flow cat. All this for under 200$, I’m doing this with a friend.

Now I got an extra 400$ to spend on the engine but I don’t know what t do with it.

Any suggestion that will work in the same way of what I will do.

I think about a FPR but people seem to told me that there isn’t one that will work with an 02 eco.

The TB wont do much without a different manifold.

You'd be better off going with an intake and exhaust to open up the engine's breathability. Get the RK header and it will do WONDERS for the sound/performance of the engine. I already have an custom intake. I’ll have a new exaust setup in next week end, plan to try it with no cat and no resonator. Only a Muffler, an Vibrant exaust one. If it’s too loud , I’ll put a high flow cat.

For the headers, are the RK better than the others.
