hey guys what do you think off this??? how could this be any different from the rk or weapon r header that would made it bad for street use. any input is welcome
OP 1777EH ECOTEC 2.2 TC Tubular Competition Headers: This is a set of equal length tubular headers designed for maximizing top end performance, not especially good for street use. They have a collector and downpipe and provisions for a stock O2 sensor also. Available in either painted or ceramic coated finish.
OP 1777EP $250 painted
OP 1777EH $325 ceramic coated
pacesetter has their header coming out soon
i should have some pics of it very soon , since i work there and my g/fs cav was the proto type car
man i wish they had one coming out for either the Grand am or Saturn.
Dosent matter the brand of the header, just be sure that the leng of the pipes are exactly the same, and add a little ceramic to the exterior (so heat is all the same in all the parts of the header, when u have a colder pipe that the others this will cause a ho and torque loos)
I would think they are no good for street use because the diameter of the runners are probably too big for a street ECO and the tuned length of the runners are "tuned" for top end gains (probably past our rev limiter) and they probably decrease power in our usable RPM ranges (stock cam, ECU, etc...)--especially low end torque, which is what our engines are made for...not top end scream like a honda
Are these headers 4-into-1 or 4-2-1?
What about the fact that Mantaparts doesn't seem to have a good rep?

Mantapart sucks @!#$, I wouldn't buy anything from them...and that header is designed for constant high rpm gains...if you use that on a stock car, when just driving about in traffic you will have next to no low end power.
