Anybody know if the 2.2 ecotec will bolt into a s-10? Is there a rwd tranny that will bolt directly to it? Is there a web site i could get info on? thanx in advance

It would take alot of custom work to make it work in an S10, In an S10 you would be better off and it would be cheaper to do a V8 conversion or if you have the 4 Cylinder get a 4.3 V6 out of a junk yard. If it was me I'd go with a V8 with a Carb. No computers, or extra wiring to worry about except for the little bit it would take for tying into your guages.

There are kits on the web for V8 swaps that include every thing that you would ever need for the swap. I do not know the price but they did one of the swaps on a tv show called trucks. You can get the kit for LT1 and the LS1.
