hi

It will work on any 2.2 that mean saturn coblat G5 cavalier ect....and if I add this as long as it fit, will I gain some rev and lost a bit a torque?

thx

It looks like it's lightweight, meaning that it takes less force to rotate it...that's how you're able to gain power from it. It's less drag on the pulley system.

It will accelerate a bit faster, yes.

Adam you crank pulley is still sitting on my desk at home. LOL

hi i'm new to ecotecpower, but i heard somewhere that if you delete or replace the vibration dampener on the crank pulley that it will throw the engine out of balance which will mess up the entire engine. but i'm not sure if the rksport pulley takes out the vibration dampener. can anyone clarify this for me?

ECOTEC engines don't have that issue

Yes, my lightweight one should be out soon! It is designed, and I just need someone to make some.

On topic, your Ecotec will be perfectly fine without it. Like NJHK said.

hey just wondering if anybody has had any problems with rk sport crank pulley? i installed it last week and 20 mins after putting it on and doing a test drive my service, abs, trac off lights turn on, and stay on till i shut my car off and has been doing it intermittently this past week, im pretty sure the alternator is just going bad and am going to test it soon, just kind of hoping it was a coincidence and i just replace my alternator, just hope my electrical system isn't getting undercharged, cause i didn't know if i went to a smaller crank pulley if i should go ahead and replace it with a higher output alternator, 105 amps seems alright i wouldn't think i should have to get one unless i have a system drawing alot of amps. thanks

Are you sure you installed it properly? Do you have the right belt on it? No slack right?

I can't remember the size right now off hand.

Put your old setup back on and see if it's doing the same thing. Just a process of elimination.

Has anyone tried to install the RKSport underdrive pulley and also take out or bypass the AC Compressor. I have an 04 Grand Am with the Ecotec and auto tranny. Right now all it has is an AEM Cold Air Intake. If anyone has done this, do you know what size belt to get? Thanks

so I have a tru power pulley kit on a twin cam of mine and it has both a crank and alt. pulley

now on my ecotec swap.

my question is Mantapart has a kit with both pulleys and all the other kits i have seen only have a crank is this true?

I mean from GM performance 400.00+ just for a crank pulley wow!!!

also has anyone tryed the a/c compressor replacement kit from Mantapart it looks like a billit style tensioner

do not buy the a/c kits they are just so you run same belt size without a/c you can just take it out, i never bought a kit for ecotec's just change belt
