2.0 suprcharger on 2.2

I think I read a thread on this, but I did a search and could not find.

Is it possible to put a supercharger from an SS/Redline on a J-body Ecotec? I would imagine you would just need the manifold (belts etc,..), supercharger and fuel injectors, and the GM reflash for the kit they sell? NE1 try this?

Alright. I'm gonna tell you from my experience. First off, but the kit or find somebody selling the eco kit for a j-body.

Or else you will need:

Charger
Gasket between the charger and bottom manifold
Manifold
Intake manifold gasket
Altenater(sp?) Bracket
The longer alt bolts to bolt the bracket down
Tensioner (not the one you already have)
Idler assembly
the bolts to hold the idler and tensioner to the block
belt
Upper rad hose
All the manifold bolts (the cobalt ones are too big)
the bottom bracket for the manifold and 3 bolts for that
Injectors
Spacers for the injectors (unless you have an 02 fuel rail, not too certain on this)
T-Map sensor
Plug with pigtailed wires for map sensor
Throttle body adapter plate
Brake booster hose (may not be needed, but I used it)
all the bolts to hold the adapter and throttle body
Get to the dealer and get the reflash, or hpt it

Thats all the parts I can think of right now. But......

Then you need the instuctions which I have found laying around on the org. You also need to cut a part of your block for the tensioner to clear. Then you need to make some sort of intake (filter, piping etc.) You also need to find someway to deal with your stock vaccuum line that comes off the passenger front side of the valve cover and your evap purge soleniod.

Thats all I can think of for now. I'm sure I missed something. So, in the long run, just but the kit.

yes you can do this. it's not easy at all. you may want to check j-body.org in the boost section for info. search a post i made and you'll find your answer.

I dunno. I was an idiot and pieced it together, although I got a killer deal on the charger and manifold.

What did you do for your tb adapter?
