Tach Signal????????????
Tuesday, February 16, 2010 9:49 AM
I currently have a 00 right hand cav with an ecotec boosted swap. Full glowshift cluster set up. Im having some troubles trying to locate the tach signal from the engine harness, pcm, and bcm. Does anyone know which wire is the tach wire for an 03 ecotec?

Enjoy life while you can, because you only have one shot. So go BIG or go home.

ran into the same problem on my 03 eco (sunfire) all the wires going between the ecm and ignition module are only good for use by the ecm. ended up buying a tach adapter made by sunpro, removed the ignition module, put the bare ends of the wires from the adapter between connector seal and connector and pushed them into two of the female ends. working great for six months

When we make the 2.2 stand alone system. we just pick up the tach signal from pinJ1-31, add a resistor to ignition, and your set. Questions? give me a call Steve Humphrey 909 910 3867
