first off, it's "ecotec" (pet peeve of mine)

as for the swap, you will need the trans, ecu (bcm), harness, new mounts welded in, intake/exhaust manifolds, all the accesories, etc. the axles will depend on which year your 2200 is. in 2000 gm switched from the isuzu manual trans to the getrag. if you have a 2000-2002, then the axles would work. that's assuming you have a manual trans, if it's an auto i'm about 99% sure gm used the 4t40e/4t45e in all the 3rd gen's.

if i'm wrong correct me.

pretty much what daniel said except that you dont need to weld anything and only one of the axles are the same, check ebay and there are several people selling complete engines with everything you need to do the swap.

yeah im planning on doing the same swap in a 2002 cavi....from the 2200 to the ecotec......so just to double check all i need is the motor and ecu right.....the axle and tranny should just bolt right up.......any one know how much the swap could cost.......cause i also got all the stuff for the bottom end plus a hahnracecraft turbo kit to install with it......i figure it would be easy to have the stuff install outside the car

2002 cav ecotec

need a z247 front bumper to complete my look
