i stumbled accross this searching for parts for my grand am ecotec, it says it will work with a 2.2L but does not specify ecotec. i emailed the company to find out if its compatable.

That's interesting because an L61 is an Ecotec 2.2. Either they have it wrong on their site, or there is a programmer for this car with this engine.
