Cylinder misfire

my '97 pontiac sunfire 5 speed has been havaing a small misfire. i disasembled my throtle body and cleaned as much carbon as i could out of it and ran fuel injecter cleaner through the gas. my car has denso plugs and a short ram but it didnt start after i installed these? any help would be greatly appreciated

Check your plugs and make sure they aren't misfiring, even new ones can be duds. Also check the distubution, could be going out and killing a cylinder. I dunno, those are the easiest things to start with without ripping out the head and stuff, lol.

I have an 04 that had misfire at idle with no codes .I cleaned throttle body and changed O2 sensor, no change. Changed spark plugs to Autolite standard ones for car even though i had only 58k on old ones , this solved problem for me.
