Noob Audio question
Monday, May 16, 2005 4:36 AM
I have a question for you all. I blew out my factory rear speakers last week, and I don't have the money yet on hand to buy a nice set of speakers to replace them... but I have really great 12" speakers from my home theater and had an extra pair so I took one and connected it to the rear speaker line. Can this going to damage my car in any way? If it will I will take it out and just do without rear speakers for a while until I can get a nice set. I just don't want to dish out a chunk of money just to get a cheap set of soeakers and then have to dish out more when I upgrade. I'll be honest with you though that speaker I put in the trunk sounds so bad ass. I'm getting huuuge bass from it and I don't even have an amp yet.

It shouldn't mess the car but you could mess up the speaker.
