need input:PnP before I do the motor swap or after

I am getting ready to do the swap to the Ecotec. I want to have the head PnP. would it be advantageous to wait on the swap and do the PnP before I put it all in the car, or is it easy enough to do once everything is in. if there is anyone who has removed the head before that can post back it would be helpful. it looks ok in the book, all but the timing chain removal.

yes do PNP now since your engine is not in the car.

I talked to a master machinist. He was telling me, that if a shop says they can PnP...

To make sure that they have a "floating bench". If they don't then not to have them do it.

They could just mess the head up, or do a job that any normal person with a dremel can do. Which would be a waste of $500-$900, which is the range for a real PnP to be done.
