ok i been looking at doing a rwd ecotec in a truck i read that thay used a s10 5 speed

does any one know what trans thay used

Probably the same as in the Solstice/Sky, thats the only one I can think of.

the trans didnt come from a S10 , it came from the colorado

they used it in the solstice

Yup I heard that too, kinda funny to hear that a GM sports car uses truck parts

Not out of line for Gm to use truck parts in their sports cars look at the LS3 it is based off the truck engine in the Vortec Maxx pickups.

Yep, the Solstice/Sky and Colorado/Canyon share the same Aisin AR5 5spd trans. Looks like the Ecotec and Atlas 4cyl share the same bolt pattern.



2007 Cobalt LS 4dr, 2.2L, Auto, bone stock deluxe poor man's package.
