So lately my Sunfire has been making noise in the front end. Like cruising in 5th and when i let off the gas itll whine and make wierd noises like the gears are messed up or something. It still drives fine but I dont know whats making the noise.

What usually goes bad in these? Should I have it repaired? or would it be cheaper to buy a new one. My car just flipped 57k miles, it still drives fine, I would just like to fix it before anything gets worse.

It's hard to diagnose it w/out hearing the noise, but I would suspect maybe a vibrating heat shield or a bad front hub/wheel bearing.
