ok im looking in to geting a stall Torque Converter for the cavy and im looking for tips and hits on how to put it in and make it the fastes way to do it right and get the job done
I don't know how to put them in, but I can tell you one thing: If this is a daily driver, I suggest not putting a higher stall converter in. Reason being lets say its a 4,500RPM stall converter, on the freeway or even at a constant speed, you're RPM's will stay at a raised level and wont drop. Yes it's great for launching, but unless you're lookin forward to getting @!#$ for gas mileage and future tranny problems from burning it up, I don't recommend this. I was thinking about doing this also to increase my 60' times, but it definitely wasn't worth all this trouble. Any questions let me know.
