I've had a new Chevy Aveo with the 1.6 Ecotec engine for one month and so far I'm very happy. I can not find any information about maintenance other than what is in the owners manual. I even made my GM service man aware that the manual says plugs are to be changed every 25,000 miles. I'm still trying to nail that one down. This is a very smooth and quiet 4 cyl. I've had GM 4 cylinders since 1979 when I bought my first Iron Duke in a Pontiac and this beats them all.
