I'm trying to find out if I can put a 2.2L Ecotec out of a 2007 Cobalt into a 2006 Cobalt. Is there any compatibility issues or any problems that I will encounter if I do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I just did this, and it did not start, what I am finding out is that the newer engine has 58 teeth on crank and the old one has 7 for the crank shaft sensor. Let me know if you find a
way around this
