Connecting rods

How much power can our engines take before having to replace internals? These are to sites that have the engine component layouts and help would be great.

I think the connecting rods shattered at 283 crank HP on the drag engine build up

pistons went at about the same

stock crankshaft is good for 400-450 hp

And the Valvetrain is good for 1100hp and 10,000 RPM with a few minor upgrades... so says GM
