Dyno numbers
Sunday, April 03, 2005 9:36 PM
I'm going to dyno my car as it is with a cone filter and a 2 1/4" cat-back exhaust sometime next week and post the results here to give everyone an idea of what we run to the wheels with just those mods. I ran a 9.790 on stock 14" wheels with that setup at the 1/8 mile drag strip, so I'm not guessing much whp or torque. Who knows?

Also, I hope to shave a few tenths off with some drag radials. And geez, I think it's going to be funny to see a Cavalier with only a cone filter and a cat-back exhaust run mid to low 9's with drag radials. Hell, I may have my 4-2-1 header by then... So maybe I'll see high 8's with the drags? I guess we'll see.

The dyno #'s are coming up soon. I will post them probably this Friday. The only mods I have are a cone filter and 2.25" catback exhaust system. This should give the Cavy and Sunfire guys a general idea of what kind of power we will put down to the wheels with the intake and exhaust. My car has 48k miles on it too.

Peace,

Sasuke.

"GOING TURBO SOON!" Stage II Hahn Racecraft system. Will be pushing 10-12 psi.
Horsepower and torque should be crazy...

That's awesome. I can't wait to turbo my ride. I'm wanting between 250 to 300whp, so I know that I'll have to do a lot for that to happen. All of the vehicles stock internals will of course be replaced.

The dyno of my car will be posted after I come back from TDY.

Sorry about the wait.
