Ecotec compatibility

Yo, im about to buy a chevy Cobalt SS (non-supercharged). Its got the 2.4L eco in it. I was jus wondering if any of the other ecotec aftermarket parts are compatible with it because im gonna start ordering parts soon. Thx for the help. L8rs.

Yes and No.

It depends on what you want to do.

If you want to work on some type of turbo setup, yes, there are parts that will work but room and space are different. If you want to use engine internals from another car in yours, won't work...you have a different valvetrain system than the 2.0 and 2.2 and the bore of your cylinder isn't the same as the 2.0 and 2.2, so pistons are out of the question. Not fully sure about the connecting rods.
