best way to hook up a vacum gauge to the ecotec

Hi i got a 2004 2.2l ecotec and would like to know what is the best or simplest way to hook up a aftermarket vacum gauge to it so i get good reading. in addition my eco has a aftermarket cold air intake system. during removel of the stock for the cai i had to put a filter on a nipple off the valve cover had previously had a hose to the stock intake. could this be a way or does that need to pull in air? any help would be great thanks.

i know on the intake manifold on the driverside just below the throttle body there is a vacuum port. that is were im getting my vacuum supply for my BOV. that should give you a very good reading.

yes the one on drivers side just below the throttle body is the only one that you can use the others are snap on lines meant for the intake, and putting the filter on instead of the house is better due to the fact the mist of oil does not get burned with your fuel. it is one of the upgrades need when running high horse power. so you will be fine.

I did this for my AEM Tur Boost Controller. It's nice.
