Does anyone know if the throttle body spacer actually imcreases hp? is it worth the purchase?

no offense or anything and im not trying to sound like a prick or anything, im just curious if you have tried the tbs and have actually had it tested to see if it didnt increase, sounds like im trying to be sarcastic but im not. im just curious?
Me personally, no...but I've known people who have and have read about it.
Also, if you think about what a throttle body spacer is, you'd understand why even if you did gain power, it would be extremely minimal.
