"Quench " and what I means to you!
If you ever replace you head gasket you should ask what the thickness is of the gasket. Most aftermarket head gaskets are thick, built to last a long time. If you choose to purchase a thin gasket that reduces your quench , it reduces the area between the top of the piston and the deck of the head. Get some actual use out of them foolish spark plugs people been buying, along with the more high octane fuel!
