Anything is possible.

Is it simple, no.

No one has talked about it on the forums because logically, there is no reason to.

The 2 engines are the same dimensions and have the same bolt patterns. Basically, why swap a motor and every single electronic / wiring from the car when you can take the supercharger off the car and put it on yours AND could possibly produce more power.

Even GM sells a kit for the 02-05 ECOTEC J-bodies so they can put a M62 on their cars.

Thanks.

Larger displacement means that there is more physical space for air to fill...hence...more possible cylinder filling BUT if you have a @!#$ tune, terrible combustion from it etc. then you won't produce alot of power. I've seen turbocharged cars make 20 - 40 more horsepower over stock just because they were terribly tuned.

The only US / Canada versions of the ECOTEC that have Variable Valve Timing are the 2.4 (LE5) and the 2.0 Turbo (LNF). The rest don't.
