It's polished, but since my car is black, and I'm not planning on any engine dress-up, I figure it's going to be just fine. I'm also planning on eventually polishing up the damn cam cover. Whenever I can get off my lazy @!#$ that is.
It's on, and it put a huge smile on my face last night when driving home from my fiancee's house. I installed it there, and made it home in less than 10 mins (it's a 15 minute drive home). I love the gains, both in sound and performance. Pics to come whenever I can get my digicam betteries recharged.

Opinions wanted. Also, the ION's engine compartment is layed out slightly different than that of the j-bodies, so our intake looks different. Check out the pics.
Yeah, I must say, I'm happy with my AEM CAI too. Was worth the money with looks and all.
