Hi, im really new to Ecotec engines. But will be building a new kit car and have heard really good things about turbo Ecotec engines. I will most like be getting from a Vauxhall or Saab.
But what is better performance wise and with tunning? I've heard the saab 2.3 internals can take 300bhp as stock, but the block is cast iron so is heavier than the 2.0
Im just after so expert advice, and peoples thoughts.

I believe the 2.0L S/C Ecotec(LSJ) can hold 400hp before you need to drop in rods and pistons.
