Occasional Hard Starting

I put the Hahn Stage II Kit on my Cavy last spring and it has run like a champ ever since. Now in the last week, three times I have gotten in to start it and the engine turns over, but sputters and dies right away. It usually takes like 10 or 15 starts to get it going, but then when it does it runs like normal from then on. This only happens when I start it and once when it did it I got a misfire code, but that was only once. It did it tonite and I didn't get a code at all. I checked the plugs for damage and gap and all that. They were gapped correctly and the side electrode was white. The insulator looked fine and the rest of the plug looked great so I don't know it the white is bad or not. Any info would be great. I am using NGK V-Power LZTR5A-13 plugs gapped to .040.

Something on the ignition side. Cheesecake had something like that happen to his car...I think he needed a new IDI.
