Ecotec PCV system?
Friday, June 08, 2007 11:11 AM
I know Ecotecs don't have a serviceable PCV valve. Is it true that the vacuum side of the PCV system is ported directly into the intake manifold?

Thanks!

yes, the PCV vacuum side is a port in the cylinder head that is covered by the intake manifold. The hose from the intake tube to the camshaft cover is the air inlet..

Thanks GMT! That is a pretty sweet setup. Only downfall I can see is for troubleshooting of the vac side of the PCV system. No way to do it if you have to pull the IM.
