The other day my wife was driving her 2002 cavi home and it stalled out. I went and tried to start it and the motor sounds like it is out of time. Is is possible for it to jump time and for the vehicle to stall like that? She said she was hearing noises from the motor a couple weeks before this happened. We got the car home and I pulled the valve cover and the chains are in tact. The timing chain seems a little loose to me but still on. What do I need to check for? My next move going to be rotate the motor until number 1 a tdc and see if the timing marks line up. Where else and what else should I be looking for or at? PLEASE HELP!!! She is driving me up a wall.
