Dad bought this car in mid 1996 for $1,000 cash. He drove it home with exactly 37,843.2 miles on it. He needed a vehicle because he had some trouble making ridiculous payments on a van he had at the time. Then when he got his S-10 at the time the Malibu became my first car and I LOVE IT!!! MODIFICATIONS
Engine:- Removed smog pump
- bypassed leaking AC
- removed cat and all piping
- replaced with a 2.25" flowmaster 40 series and a turn out between the passenger doors.
Suspension/Wheels/Brakes:Interior:- Walmart "truck" bench-seat cover.
Exterior:Audio:- Pioneer DEH-1000 CD player
- Monster Cable power and ground wires/RCAs/remote wire
- 200watt Optimus Amp
- Two 10" Sony Xplod 600watt subs in a homemade sealed truck box.
Future:- None sadly.....the car is sold. And from what I hear
- now a 4x4 cube at the local scrap yard.
