I have a 2003 chevy cavalier 2.2 ecotec engine, and i'm having trouble finding parts. Can i use the other 2.2 L4 engine parts for my ecotec or will it have a different fitment. I read on another forum on this site that the engine will except it, but the placement might need to be modified, is that true?//
Say i buy a cavalier alternator that is said to fit the 2.2 L4 engine, will it fit the 2.2 ecotec engine?

What 2.2 L4 motor are you talking about? Are you talking about the 2.2 OHV motor (2200)? If so, no it won't. Has nothing to do with yours.

no they r 2 diff engines completely but here are some for the ecotec companys are AEM, Tusudo,pacesetter, eagle rod, k&n, vibrant, greddy, rksport, they are out there and very reasonable priced.
