I just went and got me a 2006 Chevy cobalt Ls 2.2L 4 cyl automatic 16 valve ecotec and want to know what are good mods for it to bring up the power. the faster the better.

Garrette and Hahn both make excellent turbocharger kits for your model.

Though if you would like to begin at a slower pace due to $$$$$

Traction mods are your friend

Begin with

A Solid Upper Engine Mount
Traction bars
Polyurethane tranny mount inserts

Then go for the bolt ons,

Header, short, or mid-length
DP
catback exhaust - going to an exhaust shop, and having them make the piping for you is considerably cheaper. And is the same thing practically, minus the stainless steel piping.



Then if you would like to get a tune via TRIFECTA, VINCE over there can tune your car via email.
To make it even sweeter, you can run a 50/50 meth and water mixture, to up your timing and AFR effectively due to the methonal, and run very efficiently due to the water and it's cooling effects.
Though a tune is recommended if you decide to run meth. Running meth and water will make your car run extremely rich, if not tuned.
