from what i've heard... a friend at my local tuning shop said that if you're really short on cash, that you can pick up the C.A.I. coming soon from "Weapon R," for about 200.00 But if you have the money then definately go with AEM, since thats what they're reputable for....also, can anybody tell me about how you can mod the RKsport w.a.i. to be a c.a.i. i've read of a few people in the J-Body forums saying that you can do that. please reply a.s.a.p. thanks

look for the Weapon R c.a.i. in summer, 2004

Yes I did sell my old intake a while ago. sorry

Didja see page 2? you could do what Cav Fire Did:

And quite literally, I turned my intake 90 degrees down and just removed the wiper fluid reservoir. I know most people won't be interested in doing that... a small extension on it and the filter fits like a glove And with the new kit coming on, it should throw the air to the filter pretty nicely...

OR Do what Chris Dixon did:

You can use the stock intake box (easier actually) but I am using the RK elbow. This is a 2200 WAI pipe off of ebay. Works great!

Here is where the filter ends up.

Last one.

Cheap and easy.

the only other thing i can recommend is Ebay?...

Full-Throttle can give a little discount on RK Parts....
I'd still recommend the AEM CAI

I have the Weapon R Dragon cai and it works great. Problem was the install.. Directions were vague, no picture to go on..and had to modify some of the parts to make it fit!! Had to adjust the hood and remove my Cruise, otherwise the throttle would get caught on the piece that connects to the throttle body, and my throttle would stick until I popped the hood..But once you trim that down your good to go! <br>

Letz Run IT!!!
