Has anyone installed that interceptor? Any differences in shifting? Would I need to add more AT fluid? How many quarts?
ThnX!

I have the autoTrans interceptor and it makes the car shift harder, not so much quicker like people say but it eliminates that point of stall right before the trans would normally shift and basically the pressure forces it into the next gear. Basically what it does is make the clutch grab with no slip. I have mine set very low because it will slam gears if its high and it feels like the trans was slipping and then grabbed. but if you set it right it is definitely an improvement . I also did not use any additional trans fluid. it just plugs in and you turn the line pressure adjuster.

All that thing is, is an eletronic adjustment, (replaces the old detent cable) increases your line pressure, and it will knock the hell out of your drive tran. if not properly adjusted. I had one on, and took it off.
